The hotel looks beautiful and staff are generally friendly, but facilities feel outdated and lack five-star basics like complimentary water. The restaurant staff treat children poorly, and housekeeping charges fees for simple requests that other five-star hotels provide free.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet with comfortable beds that guests sleep well in. Staff are genuinely kind and attentive. Breakfast is excellent with good variety. Some older rooms need renovation, but the location near the train station and town center works well.

The Westin Zagreb has spacious, clean rooms with nice city views and soft beds, but the decor and furniture feel outdated from the 1980s. Staff provide exceptional service and hospitality. The bathroom ventilation is poor and needs renovation, and the pool area has unfiltered showers that expose swimmers.
