The Roomza Report, Week of September 21
The review flow rebuilt around the room, one room means one room type, Myrtle Beach arrives with Brittain Resorts, the map prices your dates, and a new About page.

Where things stand
- New. Myrtle Beach. Thirteen Brittain Resorts properties in Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, with a brand page.
- New. The About page. What Roomza does, what makes it different, who uses it, the team, and a key facts table, written for people and for the AI assistants that describe us.
- Evolved. The review flow. Every review is tied to one room, checked against the hotel's room list, and routed straight to the room when we already know your stay.
- Evolved. Exact rooms. A numbered room is exactly one room type, so an exact-room ask rides only that type and checkout shows nothing else.
- Evolved. Search. A city search stays a city search, a re-dated search keeps its place, and the map prices your dates.
- Holding steady. Featured hotels rotating daily.
- Holding steady. The price check, the rate calendar, and the landmark search, two weeks in.
- Holding steady. Room cards in Claude and ChatGPT.
- Holding steady. The live booking rail, seven weeks in.
- In progress. Room Lock, expanding property by property.
Shipped
- The review flow, rebuilt. Every review names one room. If you booked on Roomza we already know it and take you straight there. Otherwise you enter the room number and its type, and we check both against the hotel's rooms before the review is published. The room's page now leads with what guests said, and reviews get a moderation pass before they count.
- Your review, in your account. A member's review now lands in their own account, with their trip.
- One room, one type. A numbered room belongs to exactly one room type. Ask for Room 1604 and checkout shows that type's rates and nothing else. No more choosing a room and then being offered a different category.
- Brittain Resorts. Thirteen resorts across Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, bookable, with a brand page. Roomza's first Grand Strand inventory.
- A city stays a city. Searching San Francisco takes you to San Francisco, not to a hotel with the city in its name. Change your dates and the search keeps the place you picked.
- The map prices your dates. With dates set, every pin shows the live nightly rate for your stay, the same number the card and the hotel page show. Sorting by price waits for those numbers too.
- One sign-in, two doors. Use a hotel staff password at the member door and it opens the right one. Use a member password at the staff door and it says so.
- The About page. A value proposition in one sentence, what Roomza does, what makes it different (with the competitors named), who uses it, the team, how it works, a key facts table, and an FAQ. Built to be read by a person deciding whether to trust us and by an assistant deciding how to describe us.
- Distribution for hotels, answered. The For Hotels page now says how it works: an extranet for partner hotels and direct booking through Mews, Cloudbeds, apaleo, and Oracle OPERA.
The thread this week is the room as the unit: reviewed as one room, booked as one room, found as one room. See you next Sunday.
