The Roomza Report, Week of September 28
Search learns room checks: filter by how quiet a room is, how fast its Wi-Fi runs, and what streams on the TV. A score floor for results, sentence case everywhere, and exact-room booking drops its working name.

Where things stand
- New. Room checks in search. Filter hotels by how quiet the room is, how fast the Wi-Fi runs, and which streaming services work on the TV. The numbers come from readings guests took in the room.
- New. A score filter. Set a floor, from Fair to Exceptional, and the results keep only hotels at or above it.
- Evolved. Exact-room booking. For months this list carried it under a working name. It no longer needs one. Picking your exact room by number is what Roomza is, and the Love Your Room Guarantee stands behind it.
- Sharpened. The type. Every label on Roomza is sentence case now. Small capital letters with wide spacing are gone from every page, email, and share image.
- Holding steady. Myrtle Beach, the About page, the rebuilt review flow, and one room one type, one week in.
- Holding steady. Featured hotels rotating daily.
- Holding steady. The price check, the rate calendar, and the landmark search, three weeks in.
- Holding steady. Room cards in Claude and ChatGPT.
- Holding steady. The live booking rail, eight weeks in.
Shipped
- Room checks in search. Three new filters. Quiet sets a noise ceiling in decibels. Wi-Fi sets a speed tier, with a plain note on what each tier is good for. Streaming picks the services you want working on the TV. Only hotels with a reading on file for that check appear, so the list is short and honest, and it grows as guests add readings. The filter sits with the others in the sheet, the desktop rail, and the phone dock.
- The score filter. Pick a floor, from Fair at 76 to Exceptional at 94, and the results keep only hotels at or above it. The filter reads the same number the card shows.
- Dates fire the search. With a destination in the box, picking your checkout day runs the search. One less tap.
- Sentence case, everywhere. We took uppercase and letter-spaced labels off every surface, nearly two hundred files, including the share images and the Heat Check. Labels got a touch bigger to make up for it. The printed Review Integrity Report keeps its document headings.
- Checkout only offers what is still there. If a rate sells out while you are choosing, it leaves the list rather than coming back around.
- A quicker connect. Sign up inside a Claude or ChatGPT connect window and you go straight to the consent screen. The welcome tour waits for your first visit to the site.
Improved
- Filter words read like words. Vibe tags, view and bed filters, and room labels read as sentence case, not as raw data tokens.
- Empty results say why. Narrow by score or by a room check and come up empty, and the page says which filter did it, instead of a dead end.
Exact-room booking was going to be a feature with a name. It turned out to be the product. See you next Sunday.
