Three real differences
Scores are room by room. A hotel can average 4 stars while room 1437 has a broken view and room 6002 is the best night in the building. Roomza scores them apart, so you can pick.
Hotels cannot buy the ranking. Scores come from verified stays and signal derived on the open web. Hotels cannot edit them or pay to raise them. The rules live in the Trust Charter.
You can ask for the exact room. At beta hotels you book a room by its number, and your booking carries that ask to the hotel. See Book the exact room.
