The Roomza Report, Week of May 25
Week one. We shipped the blog you are reading, gave every post a voice, opened the founder pages, and made connecting Roomza to Claude as simple as signing in.

Where things stand
This list carries forward every Sunday. New means it is here for the first time. Evolved means we moved on from something earlier, and the line says why. In progress means we are building it. It starts today.
- New. The Roomza Report. A weekly record of what we shipped, what we improved, and what we cut. Written by me.
- New. Connecting Roomza to Claude. You sign in, the way you sign in to anything else.
- New. Hotel plans. Per-hotel access for AI assistants, a concierge the hotel controls, and Review Integrity.
- New. A voice on every article. Posts read themselves aloud.
- In progress. Booking on Roomza itself.
Shipped
- The Roomza Report. The blog, the article page, category and author pages, an RSS feed, and links from the footer, the main menu, and the sitemap.
- Audio on every article. Posts carry a player, and the narration is generated rather than recorded by hand.
- Founder pages. A page for me, real bios, and photography that is ours instead of stock.
- A private contact form that routes to a real inbox.
- Concierge, redesigned. A stronger button on mobile and a proper right-hand panel on desktop, so the assistant sits beside the page instead of on top of it.
- The robotics page, rebuilt. Redesigned around what robotics teams told us they need, with a real sample bundle they can download and inspect.
- Concierge Insights. Hotels on the Concierge plan can bring in guest conversations and see what guests keep asking for.
Improved
- Speed. We cut the code that blocks the first paint, so pages start showing up sooner.
- Signed-in home. If we have a photo of your hotel, we lead with the hotel instead of a generic city shot.
- Article details. Cleaner category labels, and images no longer break their own paragraph.
- The favicon. Tighter crop, transparent background.
Retired
- API keys as the way in. Connecting to Claude no longer asks anyone to paste a secret.
- A piece of page furniture that had stopped earning its place.
It is a good week when the thing you build is the thing you use to tell people what you built. See you next Sunday.
