The Roomza Report, Week of August 3
Roomza takes the booking now. The rail went live this week, and the exact-room promise got better: the Love Your Room Guarantee, a payout we make rather than a refund of your own money.

Where things stand
- New. The big one. Roomza takes the booking. The live rail shipped this week, in eight stages. The line that has sat on this list since May 31 comes off today.
- New. The Love Your Room Guarantee. Your review is the claim. You do not have to prove anything else.
- Evolved. How we stand behind the exact-room promise. An earlier version had you pay a fee that came back to you if the room was wrong. The Guarantee is a better promise: it is a payout we make, not a return of your own money. We would rather owe you something than hold something of yours.
- New. Guest self-cancel. No phone call, no email chain.
- New. One payment covering room, taxes, and fees, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Shipped
- The booking rail, end to end. Live this week.
- One payment covering room, taxes, and fees.
- Rail-aware interfaces. Every booking surface behaves correctly for how that booking is being made.
- Guest self-cancel, with the same result an operator would get.
- The Love Your Room Guarantee, broad, plain, and written at the reading level we hold ourselves to.
- A room peek modal. See the room without losing your place in the list.
- The confidence ledger. Instead of a paragraph telling you to trust a score, a weighted breakdown showing how it was composed.
Improved
- Payment methods by name. We name the methods that are actually live, verified in the real checkout rather than assumed.
- Klarna, properly presented, with the official badge in Klarna's own pink.
- Room chips became mini cards. Small, merchandised, worth tapping.
- The stay flow carries your dates. Pick them once and they follow you through.
- Autofill on iPhone. Guest fields no longer fight the phone.
- The home hero, cleaned of the generic patterns that make a page look machine-made.
Retired
- Links out to other travel sites. When we can take the booking, we take the booking.
- The fee that came back. Replaced by the Guarantee, which is a better deal for the guest.
- A second public price. We started collapsing to one price everywhere.
Going from pointing at a booking to taking a booking is the biggest change to what Roomza is. It happened in eight stages over seven days.
