The Roomza Report, Week of August 31
Book without an account, see your private rate with one tap, filter search by price and cancellation, and read every room type's terms before you pay.

Where things stand
- New. Guest checkout. You can book at the public rate without making an account. Your trip page and your emails still work.
- New. The member rate reveal. Tap a locked price and see your private Roomza rate after a free sign-in. No tour, no wall.
- Evolved. Search. Filter by price, free cancellation and breakfast. Every result card shows the full price block, not a teaser.
- Evolved. Room types. Each one now shows its terms, free cancellation and breakfast, and its live rates for your dates, before you pay.
- Holding steady. The hotel page relayout, one week in.
- Holding steady. Roomza Deals and the Pacific Northwest pages.
- Holding steady. Room cards in Claude and ChatGPT.
- Holding steady. The live booking rail, four weeks in.
- In progress. Room Lock, expanding property by property.
Shipped
- Guest checkout. Book a room with just your name, email and card. You get the same confirmation, the same trip page and the same Love Your Room Guarantee. Sign in later with the same email and the trip is yours.
- The member rate reveal. A locked price now opens one small sheet. It shows the public rate, the Roomza rate behind a blur, and one button to sign in free and see it. That is the whole thing.
- First-visit onboarding, rebuilt. Five short slides that lead with the price and the guarantee. It shows once, and only in the app.
- Search filters. Price cap, free cancellation and breakfast included, set at the hotel level so the results match what you can book.
- Full prices on search cards. Each card carries the public rate, the member line, and its readings. What you see on the card is what checkout charges.
- Room types with terms. On the hotel page, every room type says whether it is free to cancel and whether breakfast is in. Open one and the live rates for your dates are right there, each with its own terms.
- Checkout for someone else. Booking for a friend or a parent? Say who is staying, and the confirmation goes where it should.
- A stay summary that stays with you. On desktop the room, dates and price sit in a column beside the form all the way to the end.
- The hotel page section bar. Rooms, reviews, location and amenities ride under the nav as you scroll, with the from-price and the book button beside them.
- Your search stays with you. The dates and city you searched sit in the nav on every hotel page. Tap to change them.
- Search that knows the hotel. Type a hotel's exact name and you land on its page, not a results list.
- Deals cards, redesigned. Brighter, plainer, and the saving reads first.
Improved
- Faster hotel pages. The page loads what it needs in one pass.
- Concierge quotes live rates. Ask about a hotel and the answer carries the price for your dates.
- The guarantee, said shorter. The promise on the checkout page is now two lines.
The pattern this week is fewer steps. Book without an account. See your rate with one tap. Read the terms on the row, not on a later page. See you next Sunday.
