Rooms vary wildly: some guests loved the size and views while others found them outdated, small, and dirty. Staff excel and make the experience special, but elevators break down often and the Olives restaurant serves tough meat slowly. The Nile views, pools, and breakfast redeem the stay for most guests.

Newly renovated rooms are comfortable with great Nile views, but major construction noise and dust plague the pool area. Staff go out of their way to help, though billing issues and maintenance problems persist for a five-star property.
