Staff treats you well and the beach is excellent, but rooms have poor layouts, no lanai screens, and noise problems in lower floors. The modern concrete aesthetic feels cold compared to other resorts. Expect crowds of honeymooners and families rather than quiet relaxation.

Beautiful grounds and ocean views make it worth visiting, but hidden fees for beach chairs ($150/day) and late checkout ($500) pile up fast. Staff quality varies wildly by day and shift. Food costs are steep even for Hawaii.

Book an oceanfront room for killer views. The staff delivers exceptional service, especially at the pools. Expect resort prices but get excellent food, multiple pools, and genuine Hawaiian hospitality in return.
